Working at Home
We only have so much time in class, so you have to plan and use your time wisely.

In the Investigate, Design and Plan sections, you can visit websites, the school or public library or book store to look for information on tangrams and for tangram shapes to select. You can select your three possible designs and your final design at home as well.

In the Create section, you might be able to try using Flash at home if you can download and install the software. Ask your parents for permission if the computer is shared! Even if you cannot, you can write your Process Journal at home, making sure you write something every time you work on your project.

You can also write your Evaluate at home.

Schedule (let’s hope we do not miss any lessons this quarter):

22 April: Discuss third quarter results and introduce fourth quarter assignment.

29 April: Whole lesson spent on instruction on how to use Flash.

6 May: Whole lesson spent on instruction on how to use Flash.

13 May: Check on Investigate, Design, Plan – you do not have to submit it but you must have it at school for me to see. This is a requirement. If there is time, time to work on Flash project in class.

20 May: Time in class to work on Flash and to ask questions/ask for help.

27 May: Time in class to work on Flash and to ask questions/ask for help.

10 June: Review of work if I can get everything done in time, course evaluation.
